Dr. Daniel Revillo completed his postdoctoral studies in Economic Valuation of Environmental Goods and Services at the Regional Center for Multidisciplinary Research (CRIM) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from UNAM and a Master's degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Maryland at College Park, United States.

His research focuses on environmental economics, with particular emphasis on environmental economic valuation techniques, game theory, experimental economics applied to the management of common-pool resources, climate change, and water economics.
