Professor Laura Estela Castrillón Rivera is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Biological Systems of the Division of Biological and Health Sciences at the Xochimilco Campus of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

She completed her Ph.D. in Sciences (Biologist-Clinical) at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN).
