Profile
Professor Roberto Olayo González, is a Physicist graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), he obtained his master's degree and a PhD from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus. He has done research stays at the Universities of Minnesota USA. Guanajuato, Mexico and UNAM, Querétaro, Mexico. He has more than a hundred publications, nine patents, and 1750 citations to his works.
In the training of human resources, he has supervised 14 Ph.D. theses, 23 Masters, 13 Bachelor's. He is currently a Professor in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana
His main research topics are Physicochemistry of polymers, Biomaterials tissue engineering, and Controlled substance dosing.
He has also worked as Head of the Polymer Area of the Physics Department at UAM, Iztapalapa Campus. President of the Polymeric Society of Mexico, Coordinator of the Degree in Physics, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and Head of the Physics Department, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
