Profile

Professor Alejandro Córdova Izquierdo is a Veterinary Doctor and Zootechnologist from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus, CDMX. Master's Degree in Reproductive Biology from the UAM Iztapalapa Campus; Doctorate in Animal Reproduction from the Veterinary Faculty of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain; Master in Environmental Education from the Institute of Ecological Research of Malaga, Spain; as well as various Diplomas in Teaching, Science and Technology and Methodology of Scientific research.

He has more than 30 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Diffusion of Culture. He has published more than 300 Scientific and Divulgation Articles at International and National levels; He has presented countless conferences and scientific works at international and national conferences. He has published several books related to Veterinary Sciences and is a referee in international and national scientific magazines. He has directed various Bachelor's and Postgraduate theses.

Professor Córdova has been certified in the Reproductive Clinic of Bovines and Pigs by the National Council of Veterinary Education (CONEVET). He is a small pig producer in the Municipality of Cárdenas, Tabasco, and belongs to several associations related to Veterinary Sciences.

He has been a professor in the Academic Division of Agricultural Sciences (DACA) of the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT), México, teaching the subjects of Lactation Physiology; Specialized Animal Reproduction; Animal Behavior, Management, and Welfare.

He is currently a Professor-Researcher in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechics at the Department of Agricultural and Animal Production of the UAM Xochimilco Campus. He teaches in the Module "Management of Reproductive and Genetic Efficiency". He likes to work with animals and provides his services on integral advisory on Animal Reproduction.
