Professor Samuel Coronel Núñez is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Agricultural and Animal Production of the Division of Biological and Health Sciences at the Xochimilco Campus of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
He did his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology at the University of Havana, Cuba.
