Professor María Patricia Domínguez Echeverría has a Doctorate in Social Sciences (Social Psychology of Groups and Institutions) from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Mexico; Diploma in Clinical Psychopathology in Psychoanalysis, Freudian fundaments, Mexico, Master in Social Psychology of Groups and Institutions. (Both by the UAM), Mexico; and Bachelor of Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico.
She has been a professor and researcher in the Department of Biological Systems. Within her lines of research are Body, culture and conflict; Migrations, social mobility and interculturality; and Anthropology of religion.
She has published articles in various national, international magazines and books. Research lines developed: Body and subjectivity; Prisons of women, violence, resistance and gender identity; Social proceedings in various communities and marginalized and displaced populations.
