Profile
Professor Hilda Teresa Ramírez Alcántara holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Université Lyon 3 Jean Moulin, Lyon France, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus, Mexico. She holds a Master's degree in Management Sciences from Université Lyon 2 France and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
She was a professor at UNAM in 1974 in the School of Accounting and Administration, and was a founding professor in 1975 at the Escuela de Estudios Profesionales Cuautitlán of UNAM until 1982. She joined UAM Xochimilco Campus as a professor in 1980 and is currently a Professor in the Department of Economic Production of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration. She created the project of the Research Area "Strategy and Management of Organizations" in 1990 and was the head of this research area for eight years.
She is currently recognized as a Full-Time Professor with Desirable Profile in the Program for the Professional Development of Teachers (PRODEP). Member of the research area of Analysis and Socioeconomic Management of Organizations at UAM Xochimilco Campus.
She has written nearly 100 articles and has participated with papers in more than 80 national and international academic forums. Her current research revolves around sustainable development, organizational learning and knowledge management, analysis and strategies of SMEs, organizational and cooperative studies. She also participates in collective research projects such as: Socioeconomic Management in Mexican organizations, Tetranormalization, and governance.
She has participated with papers in congresses, forums, colloquiums, and national and international symposiums and has 105 publications.
