Professor Gustavo Ariel Fuentes Zurita is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Process Engineering and Hydraulics of the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.

He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware (USA). He did a postdoctoral stay at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, LMU in Munich, Germany.
