Professor Alberto Isaac Pierdant Rodríguez studied the Industrial Engineering career at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), a Master's in Engineering in the Specialty of Planning of the Division of Postgraduate Studies of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He has a Ph.D. in Social Sciences with the Society and Education Specialty of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). He also has doctoral studies in education at the Education School of the Central University of London and the UAM Xochimilco Campus.

He has participated in various update courses: the economic evaluation of regional exploration projects of hydrocarbons I at the University of the Andes-Inter-American Development Bank in Bogotá, Colombia; The economic evaluation of regional exploration projects of Hydrocarbons II at the University of the Andes-Inter-American Development Bank in Bogotá, Colombia; Petroleum Energy at The Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (September-November 1989) in Tokyo, Japan, are some that stand out.

He has over 40 years of teaching experience, teaching mathematics and computer courses. He has the accreditation of a suitable profile teacher awarded by the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP).

He is a member of the Mathematics applied to the Social Sciences area in the UAM Xochimilco Campus, a Member of the Ibero-American Association of Sociology of Organizations and Communication based at the National University of Distance Education and the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain.

He has published 23 books on mathematics, systems, and applied mathematics; he has five as author and 18 as co-author. He has also published more than 30 scientific and dissemination articles oriented to small businesses, organizations, administration, and public management.

He has participated in the presentation conference cycles, congresses, meetings, and forums at a national and international level.

He was the founder of a consulting office - Pierdant y Asociados, S.C. - In 1979, which stopped operating in 2009. In it was developed work for various companies and agencies such as SHCP, the ISSSTE, the Federal Electricity Commission, Petróleos Mexicanos, Coca-Cola FEMSA, and the National Institute of Fine Arts.
