Professor José Luis Jiménez Delgado has a master's in architecture graduated from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). Engineer architect with a master's degree in research and architectural teaching, by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). And he has achieved 100% of the Doctoral Credits on Urban Development, by the UNAM.
He is an architect certified by the College of Architects of Mexico, CAM, SAM. He has been responsible for construction site work in Mexico City and the State of Mexico; he is a member of accountable and correspondent directors for the civil protection of Mexico City.
One of its outstanding commitments is to the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana with its teaching and research career. He began in 1978 and has worked uninterrupted for 42 years at the institution.
He has worked as a Teacher of the Bachelor in Architecture Workshop 5 1977 UNAM; Teacher of Architecture in the Workshop 5 1977 UNAM; Teacher of architecture of the UAM Xochimilco Campus 1978-2020; In the design workshop area, facilities, and construction for IV-XII modules; Teacher in the expertise of reuse; and teacher in the nutrition career.
He has elaborated didactic material for the architecture career, such as Notes on Hydraulic Facilities, Lighting in Architecture, Electricity, Lighting, Interior and Exteriors, Electric Stairs, Elevators, Air Conditioning, Air Washing, Boilers, Hydro pneumatic System, Scheduled Pump Equipment, Fire Equipment, Hospital Equipment.
Professor Jiménez has the Teaching Award, 2006, from the UAM Xochimilco Campus.
He participated in the Nutrition Major's Career curriculum of the UAM Xochimilco Campus, Health and Housing, and in the Group of Researchers to create the new University of the Ciénega of the State of Michoacán de Ocampo.
Among his publications are the Sanitary Hydro Installation in Architecture, Studies and Analysis of Urban - Architectural Environments with Architectural Historical Patrimonial Value for End of Millennium. He is published in the book generating knowledge: scientific and humanistic research in the UAM Xochimilco Campus.
