Profile
Professor Laura Patricia Saenz Martinez, has a degree as a Dental Surgeon from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) with a specialty in Social Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus and a Master in Social Medicine from the UAM Xochimilco Campus.
Some of her recognitions at UAM are the Elaboration of the Mexican Official Norm Project for the Prevention and Control of Dental Fluorosis. Ministry of Health. Mexico, 2001; Distinguished Member and outstanding participation in the National Society of Researchers in Dentistry, A. C. Zacatecas, Zac. 2017.
Her Disciplinary Areas of research work vary between caries risk factors, Chronology of eruption, glycemic control and its possible relationship with caries, periodontopathies, and oral mucosal lesions in type 2 diabetics in students of the UAM Xochimilco Campus.
